When Monis Bukhari came to Berlin, he didn’t know how to rebuild his life there. He wanted help from people who understood what he was going through, so he created My Syrian House in Germany, a Facebook Group that now acts as a lifeline for more than 100,000 Syrians who are new to Germany and looking for information on everything from finding a doctor who speaks Arabic to how to apply to local universities.
