Hi. I’m Allie, a creative living in California’s Bay Area.

Since 2012, I've been writing and editing at Facebook. I led the Facebook Stories documentary film project for four years, and now I'm helping Facebook talk to businesses.

Before Facebook, I was a technology reporter and social media editor at TIME Magazine where I helped launch TIME's social brand. I've also written for places like Esquire, Inc., Popular Mechanics and Lean In.

I was born and raised in Indiana, and studied journalism and sociology at Indiana University. My work usually focuses on the stories created at the intersection of technology and people.

Occasionally, I perform on stage with theatre companies around the Bay Area. I believe in the transformative power of live theatre, and I'm interested in telling stories that entertain and resonate.
